The pushing-through-realities monsters are a really nice effect. The glowing works too, though the head shape makes me think Cybermen in Army Of Ghosts so I hope I’m wrong there.

A male Master and a female Doctor, and not pushing for a kiss like the reverse as it would be much more troublesome that way. Sacha Dhawan’s previous Whoniverse connection was playing Waris Hussein in An Adventure In Time And Space.

I had the same Cyberman thoughts as you when the "light creatures" were introduced. Still could be them - The Master has history with them.
ReplyDeleteI'm also wondering if the "forest" could be The Matrix. And the light creatures are actually the Matrix ghosts.
We'll see soon enough! (The most amusing guess I've seen so far is that the attack is Tissue Compression and the 'columns' are carpet fibres...)
