The Impossible Astronaut

Hello, sweetie.

Oh wait, I mean her other catchphrase.

Spoilers!

Online content, including the prologue - not a prequel as stated.

After a dedication to Elisabeth Sladen (and followed by a special on CBBC which made me tear up a bit) we go into some gags leading up to a pretty jaw-dropping intro.

The names in the credits have been reangled and retextured slightly.

Easter Island! Oh, snap.

We know what the Silence can do, and it’s a great suspense gimmick, but still have no idea why. If “Joy!” hadn't just been the first victim’s name, that would have been so very horrible.

The Doctor goes to help a kid, distracting him from defeating one of the worst villains of the last fifty years.

We really should have had a 40th Anniversary Of Apollo 11 Special two years ago.

It’s The Black TARDIS from The Lodger!

More next week when I might have some idea what I’m talking about.

In the meantime, Bigger On The Inside discusses things with rather more clarity.
