It’s so weird seeing such a close adaptation (in the middle of other fun stuff) if a story I’ve loved since I was six. And yes I want a Meep toy.

With nice and nasty faces.

The design tweaks from cuddly cartoon to cute animal worked for live-action-ing, though the nasty face is still a bit cartoony.

Russell T Davies mentions not being sure why they didn’t do this sooner, probably the effects needed. Of course Smith And Jones had a bit of this, scary-looking aliens hunting a benign-looking monster for legal reasons, but it’s not the same.

Yay for new UNIT people, I hope and expect to see them again.

The sonic has a heads up display and a shield generator now? Alright.

The solution to the tragedy of Donna is equal parts needed-years-to-work and fixed-in-no-time. But hey.

Sort of a cheat that the really obvious alien inspired toys Rose made only appear in the flashback. But hey.

Worried some might read Rose having Doctor knowledge as being why she’s trans with the “binary” callback, but hopefully not overall.

Not sure why Doctor Who Unleashed isn’t called Confidential again, as having a presenter is the only notable change. And it had Pat Mills and Dave Gibbons on set!
