Well, that was odd.

FilmFour showed The Seeker: (loosely adapting) The Dark Is Rising last night. I knew Christopher Eccleston was in it. So I knew about this. But I hadn't known about this.

I don't think he works the look quite as well.

    The Dark Is Rising was one of my favourite childhood books and every time it snows - like today - I am reminded of it.

    Saw the film the other week on FilmFour and it wasn't quite as bad as I feared - still not a patch on the source material though.
